  Malcolm Lochhead was approached by the Student Services Department of Glasgow Caledonian University to design the interior of a small room to be used for religious services and also as a place for quiet contemplation by students and staff alike.
The room is divided into bands of blue which darkens in tone towards the floor. One wall is entirely mirrored to set the metaphor for the embroidery.
